What does Datajoy do?

Datajoy is a EU Data Intermediation Service. It is a trusted link within the data ecosystem between data subjects, data holders and data users.

Datajoy may also migrate data only in a purely Business to Business context.

The data holder is the person that holds your data, and to whom Datajoy will submit a request to exercise your data rights on your behalf. The data user is the person who will use your data and from whom you may obtain services.

Datajoy act as mandate receiver and does not represent the data holder or the data user.

Does this work in all EU countries? Is it the same price

Yes it works in all EU countries. We may need to adapt the pricing to countries outside of Belgium, France and Italy.

What is the jurisdiction under which the data use is intended to take place?

Datajoy only stores data in the EU. When selecting suppliers that have access to individual's personal data, Datajoy's only selects suppliers where the jurisdiction is in Switzerland, the EU, or if in the US, where client side encryption is possible.

As a company or individual, do I retain control of my data?

Yes, you retain control of your company or personal data with Datajoy. You may ask us for information on the status of requests at any time, and inspect, filter or delete your data.
